chianti classico DOCG 2021
Winter 2021 was quite wet and not very cold. March was unusually warm, April and May cold with frost and hailstorms and a lot of rain. A hot and dry summer preceded a glorious September. Beautiful and rich grapes. Rain arrived at the beginning of October, followed by dry weather and a marvellous harvest.
The delicate aromas of the Chianti Classico 2021 are reminiscent of fresh flowers and ripe red berries, with a smoked hint, flint and roots. In the mouth, the wine is crisp, savoury and long, ending in an airy finish.
